East San Jose Weed & Seed
Weed & Seed is a federally funded program that brings together justice, law enforcement, government and residents to strategize on how to "weed" out violence, gangs and drugs while working to "seed" the area with positive programs and activities.

What's in it for me? The payoff may be increased safety (all residents), recreational activities (youth); property values (homeowners); positive results from contributions (all contributors); after-school programs (working parents with children); or decrease in crime (citizens, law enforcement, and local government officials).
It sends a message to the criminal element that your neighborhood will no longer tolerate criminal behavior.
