Winchester

The Winchester neighborhood has a unique mixture of single-family homes, including ranch-style, non-tract, and contemporary homes. The neighborhood also has fourplexes and high-density multifamily dwellings. It also has an interesting combination of small family owned businesses, chain stores, and franchises. This neighborhood is comprised of residents who have been in the neighborhood for many years as well as a large population of recent immigrants to this country. One of the strengths of the neighborhood is the tremendous amount of diversity, which creates both challenges and opportunities. Another strength is the beautiful tree lined streets. These strengths along with many others create an opportunity to build on neighborhood assets and create a truly livable neighborhood.
