The Gateway East area is a predominantly residential community , home to people of diverse socioeconomics and cultural backgrounds. Community members value their neighbors, and are especially appreciative of residents who have been instrumental in making positive changes in the area. The approved SNI plan was adopted by City Council in June 2003 - has been the working document representive of the neighborhood.
