The Delmas Park neighborhood is located adjacent to downtown San José on the west. Delmas Park has excellent access to freeways, public transit, and Downtown and Silicon Valley employment concentrations. The neighborhood is a mixture of residential, commercial, and light industrial uses. The vision for the neighborhood is that over time it will become more pedestrian and transit oriented, with community-focused commercial corridors, and well-lit, tree-lined streets. Existing residential areas will be preserved and enhanced through the implementation of the Delmas Park Neighborhood Improvement Plan.
