East Valley/680 Communities

 


The East Valley/680 Community area is located east of Highway 680. The area comprises ten residential communities: National Hispanic University, Lyndale, Nancy, Sierra, Dobern, Capitol/Goss, Ryan, Arbuckle, Cassell, and Dorsa. Along Story Road and Capitol Expressway there are a mix of businesses. Throughout the years, residents of this area have collaborated with both private and public sectors to improve the neighborhood, bringing back a sense of community pride and sustaining its rich culture.
The area's physical assets include seven elementary schools, one middle school, Hank Lopez Multi-Service Community Center, Hillview Library, Ocala Park and the National Hispanic University.
